Courtney Love

Courtney Love: physical prowess, rooted mind, free spirit. Navigating a life abundant with adventure, her inner intuitive compass serves as her most trusted guide. A yoga teacher,  and avid climber, Courtney aligns with the concept of leading each of her pursuits with balanced head and heart. She feeds her insatiable appetite for learning and exploration by digging deeply into yogic teachings, philosophy and astrology – inviting an open heart, guiding her to dismiss inner doubt, and encouraging her to push beyond beliefs on the mat, rock, trail and in the flow of life.

Courtney’s yoga practice began in 2002 in San Francisco, when she was seeking physical and mental rehabilitation and restoration within her active and busy lifestyle. Courtney completed 300 hours of training in 2011 at Nosara Yoga Institute in Nosara, Costa Rica. She has completed over 400 hours of additional training, attended numerous workshops and festivals, and studied with a variety of teachers across the country. She has served as a coach or guest teacher for multiple trainings and has over 2,500 hours of teaching experience. Courtney is grateful to have been exposed to an abundance of national teachers through her work with Hanuman Festival, the national yoga festival held annually in Boulder. She is incredibly grateful for the deep wisdom, guidance and support from all of her teachers, mentors and students along the journey.

Courtney teaches a moderately paced Vinyasa yoga class carefully blending alignment and expansion in the postures as she realizes every body is physically different from one another, even day to day. Courtney’s energy and enthusiasm are contagious and her classes are known to be playfully challenging, but creating balance in the whole body: physically, mentally, and spiritually.

When Courtney isn’t chasing adventures, she is found teaching yoga classes in Boulder, Colorado and is the Director of Sales and Marketing for Hanuman Festival, a yoga festival held annually in Boulder, and the Director of Sales and Marketing for SunWellness Companies, a spa and retreat center in Manitou Springs, Colorado. She encourages everyone to laugh hard, love deeply and eat lots of ice cream.
